One of the classic arguments *against* God is that evil exists. While it might seem innocuous at first, the existence of evil is a difficult thing if you happen to believe that God is all-good and all-powerful. If God is all-good, then he doesn’t want evil, and if he’s all-powerful, then he can prevent it. Of course, since God is not preventing evil, it makes the existence of God suspect.Does this mean that God does not exist? If he does exist, why is he not to blame for continuing to allow evil? This is the one where we debate God’s existence.
