ON A RECENT VISIT TO HIS HEALTH CARE PROVIDER, HE WAS TOLD THAT HE HAD CATARACTS IN BOTH EYES, WITH THE LEFT EYE MORE AFFECTED THAN THE RIGHT. HIS PROVIDER HAS REFERRED W.G. TO AN OPHTHALMOLOGIST FOR EVALUATION AND TREATMENT OF THE CATARACTS. UPON ASSESSMENT OF W.G. AT THE OPHTHALMOLOGISTS OFFICE, YOU FIND THAT W.G. HAS MILD HYPERTENSION THAT IS BEING TREATED WITH HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE AND ATENOLOL.
