My chosen idea is making online GED testing available to all whos interested in obtaining further means of education. This GED online service would allow individuals seeking high schools diploma equivalencies to get their education rolling and allow them to possibly invest in a College Degree of their choice. GED is just as good as the high school diploma. The target market would be teenagers 16 and older and adults at any age. The impact this would have on society is that everyone would be able to qualify for better paying jobs once completed GED testing online. Employees would benefit from this service by having increased hours due to the demand this option would procure. GED online would be given to students online at home or at a library of her choice. The GED online services would require that students have a webcam so that they can be monitored while taking the GED online test. Classes would be also offered to refresh the students before the actual exam is taken. In US, 39 million adults are without a GED or high school diploma. Now that employers are demanding more from their employees, jobs are getting harder to find if you dont have a diploma. Many adults think that school is beneath them due to their age. Theyve already dropped out. One way or another, theyre getting by, or so it seems theyre crawling by. Nowadays, factory jobs are requiring GED or high school diplomas, so basically the easy jobs to get are now harder than ever to get due to the demand of college and diplomas. (passged.com, 2020).
