US Approves NYSE Listing Plan to Cut Out Wall Street Middlemen

The article argues that The United States has agreed that companies have a chance to increase their capital on NYSE without losing gains through direct listings. The article believes that this is possible for companies whenever their stock forks our huge fees on Wall Street banking institutions which may mostly underwrite such issues. However, some scholars believe that such a strategy threatens to overhaul the IPO market in the United States. It will permit the aspiring public companies to engage in the direct sale of shares to investors. Although the proposal was meant to cut out intermediaries, it required a lot of effort to be approved. Regardless of the outcome, the proposal will play a crucial role in balancing the investorÂ’s rights and the desires of companies to have a direct listing as a choice.
